'B' Walk - Marston Trussell to Lubenham

25 of us set out from Marston Trussell , a pleasing turn out considering that this is such a  socially busy time of year . We headed towards Sibbertoft , enjoying splendid views  of rolling countryside. Later  we picked  up the Jurassic Way and walked towards East Farndon and eventually on to Lubenham. The Coach and Horses provided lunch and a welcome stop after approximately 8 miles.

 

The dozens of lambs we encountered as we walked across rolling meadows were a sheer delight but an even greater delight was the absence of mud on this walk. What joy ! The land is drying out at last and no tedious boot cleaning on the return home.Having completed the majority of this walk before lunch the last leg was a very pleasant amble across flat fields and back to our cars in M. T.

 

This was a lovely Spring walk with only one significant hill and an appr

 

oximate distance of 9.8 miles.
