Coombe Abbey, Warwickshire (B walk) - 11 November 2015
We did 11 miles on this walk, which was fairly flat so not as strenuous as it could have been. Like good ramblers we all trooped through a gate (a relic of days gone by, which stood alone in the middle of a field without a fence to keep it company (see photo. Only problem was that when we reached the pub it had closed!! Fortunately we were at Brinklow which is quite large so there was a fish & chip shop and a sandwich shop there and another pub kindly let us eat our sandwiches inside as it did not do food. All very amusing and no one went hungry.
